Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups macaroni
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup ground beef
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 beaten egg

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Stir in 1 beaten egg, 1/4 cup milk, and 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese into the cooked macaroni. Set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground beef and chopped onion until the meat is lightly browned and the onion is tender.
  4. Drain off excess fat from the skillet.
  5. Add tomato sauce, cinnamon, nutmeg, 3/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper to the beef mixture. Stir well and set aside.
