A quick, flavorful homemade pizza using canned biscuits, savory meats, vegetables, and cheese, perfect for a fast weeknight dinner or casual get-together.

Ingredients

  • 6 giant canned biscuits
  • 1/2 small jar spaghetti or pizza sauce
  • 1/3 lb. mild sausage
  • 24 slices pepperoni
  • 1/3 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1/2 can mushrooms
  • 4 oz. Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Grease a cookie sheet.
  3. Pat the biscuits on the cookie sheet until very thin.
  4. Bake for 4 minutes.
  5. Brown the sausage and hamburger separately; drain grease.
  6. Rinse and chop the onion, green pepper, and mushrooms.
  7. Spread sauce over the partially baked biscuits.
  8. Top with meats first, then vegetables.
  9. Sprinkle with grated mozzarella cheese.
  10. Bake for an additional 6 to 8 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
