Ingredients

  • 8 chicken breasts or whole chicken
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 onion
  • 8 oz. package thin noodles
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 onion
  • 2 ribs celery
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 package sour cream mix
  • 1 carton sour cream
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese shredded

Instructions

  1. Cook chicken breasts or whole chicken, celery, and onion in a pressure cooker or broiler until tender.
  2. Cook thin noodles according to package instructions.
  3. Saute butter, chopped onion, chopped celery, green bell pepper, poultry seasoning, and garlic powder until vegetables are tender.
  4. Mix the cooked chicken, noodles, sautéed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and shredded Monterey Jack cheese in a baking pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until cheese bubbles and is golden.
