Sausage Spaghetti Dinner

Ingredients
- 2 lb. smoked link sausage, cut into 2-inch pieces ⓘ
- 2 large onions, chopped ⓘ
- 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, chopped ⓘ
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce ⓘ
- 2 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 1 bay leaf ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1 large green pepper, chopped ⓘ
- 1 (7 oz.) pkg. thin spaghetti ⓘ
- grated Parmesan cheese (optional) ⓘ
Instructions
- Cook sausage in a Dutch oven over medium heat until browned, stirring occasionally.
- Add chopped onions and cook until lightly browned.
- Stir in chopped tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, bay leaf, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Simmer for about 35 minutes.
- Add chopped green pepper and simmer an additional 10 minutes.
- Prepare spaghetti according to package directions; drain.
- Serve sauce over cooked spaghetti.
- Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
