- 1 stalk celery, cut ⓘ
- 1 tsp. thyme ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper ⓘ
- 2 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1 bay leaf (optional) ⓘ
- 1 cup tomatoes ⓘ
- 1 lb. hot smoked sausage ⓘ
- 3 cups shrimp ⓘ
Instructions
- Saute onion, celery, bell pepper, sausage, thyme, oregano, cayenne pepper, and basil.
- Add chicken broth and water to the sauteed mixture.
- Cook the mixture, then add tomatoes, okra, salt, and black pepper.
- Continue cooking until flavors meld.
