Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. Fontina cheese, grated
  • 1/4 lb. mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. sliced green stuffed olives
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 c. chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Butter a spring-form pan and coat it with grated Parmesan cheese.
  2. Cook spaghetti until al dente, then rinse and drain.
  3. Fry sausage, ground beef, and chopped onion in a skillet until browned; drain excess fat.
  4. Add sliced mushrooms to the meat mixture and cook until tender.
  5. In a bowl, beat the eggs slightly and mix with chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
  6. Combine the cooked spaghetti with the meat mixture and egg mixture.
  7. Layer the spaghetti mixture into the prepared spring-form pan.
  8. Sprinkle grated Fontina cheese and additional Parmesan cheese over the top.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  10. Let cool slightly before removing from the pan and serving.
