Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp margarine
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz) can tomato soup
  • 1/4 lb cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup cooked macaroni
  • bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped onion and green pepper in margarine in a skillet until tender.
  2. Add ground beef, salt, and pepper; cook until beef is browned and crumbly, stirring frequently.
  3. Add tomato soup, cubed cheese, and cooked macaroni; mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  5. Top with bread crumbs.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes until heated through and golden on top.
