Ingredients

  • 4 lb. chuck roast
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the chuck roast in water until tender.
  2. Sauté chopped onion, garlic, and butter until fragrant.
  3. Add tomato sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, dry mustard, paprika, and black pepper to the sautéed mixture. Cook together.
  4. Add the cooked roast, which has been cut into fine pieces, into the sauce.
  5. Mix thoroughly and simmer to blend flavors.
