Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup margarine, softened
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup Rice Krispies
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 1/2 cups unsifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, margarine, egg, vanilla, Rice Krispies, coconut, and oats.
  2. Sift together salt, flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar in a separate bowl.
  3. Add the dry ingredients to the sugar mixture and mix well.
  4. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
  5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350°F.
