Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. thin spaghetti
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
  • 1 can water
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded process cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook thin spaghetti in 3 quarts of salted boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes.
  2. Drain and rinse the spaghetti.
  3. Brown ground beef and cook onion and green pepper in butter until vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir to separate meat particles.
  5. Add condensed mushroom soup, tomato soup, water, and minced garlic; heat through.
  6. Blend with 1/2 cup shredded cheese and cooked spaghetti in a 3-quart casserole.
  7. Top with remaining shredded cheese.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until bubbling and hot.
