Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 (1 lb 13 oz) can tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 (6 1/2 oz) cans tuna, drained
  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Saute chopped onion in butter until tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add chopped green pepper and cook until soft.
  4. Stir in flour until well blended.
  5. Add canned tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, salt, sugar, and pepper.
  6. Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
  7. Add drained tuna to the mixture.
  8. Pour mixture into a 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  9. Place refrigerated buttermilk biscuits on top of the casserole.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
