Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb ground ham
  • 3/4 lb ground pork
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons pineapple juice

Instructions

  1. Mix ground ham, ground pork, chopped onion, bread crumbs, milk, eggs, prepared mustard, parsley flakes, and pepper thoroughly.
  2. Press the mixture evenly into a loaf pan.
  3. In a cup, mix brown sugar, 1 tablespoon pineapple juice, and 1 teaspoon prepared mustard.
  4. Spread the brown sugar mixture over the loaf.
  5. Pour the remaining 3 tablespoons pineapple juice over the top.
  6. Bake at 325°F for 1 1/2 hours.
