Abe'S Dish
A flavorful stir-fry featuring tender chicken, vibrant vegetables, and a savory-sweet sauce, perfect for quick weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 pkg. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips ⓘ
- 4 Tbsp. duck sauce ⓘ
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Szechwan sauce ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. honey ⓘ
- 1/4 c. red wine vinegar ⓘ
- 1/3 c. water ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice ⓘ
- 1 large sliced onion
- 1 tsp. garlic powder ⓘ
- 1 bunch broccoli ⓘ
- 2 or 3 carrots, sliced into 2-inch thin strips ⓘ
- 1 large zucchini, sliced ⓘ
- 1 pkg. fresh mushrooms ⓘ
- salt and pepper to taste ⓘ
Instructions
- In a wok or large skillet, heat 2 to 3 tablespoons vegetable oil and add sliced onions, cooking until slightly browned.
- Add chicken strips and stir-fry for about 4 to 5 minutes until cooked through.
- Pour in all liquids: duck sauce, Szechwan sauce, honey, red wine vinegar, water, and lemon juice; stir well.
- Add sliced vegetables: broccoli, carrots, zucchini, and fresh mushrooms; continue to stir-fry until vegetables are tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve over rice or noodles.
