Ingredients

- 2 cups old-fashioned oatmeal ⓘ
- 2 cups corn flakes ⓘ
- 1 cup coconut ⓘ
- 1 cup chopped nuts ⓘ

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cream together 1 1/2 cups butter-flavored Crisco, 2 1/2 cups light brown sugar, 2 eggs, and 2 tablespoons vanilla until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda, a pinch of nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, mixing well.
- Stir in 2 cups old-fashioned oatmeal, 2 cups corn flakes, 1 cup shredded coconut, 1 cup chopped nuts, and 2 cups chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until just firm and lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool slightly before removing from baking sheets.
