Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon tarragon leaves
  • 1/2 pound chicken, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 pound beef, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 16 mushrooms
  • 16 carrots, cooked
  • 4 small onions, cut into quarters
  • 15 small green peppers, cut into 1-inch pieces

Instructions

  1. Combine cooking oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, prepared mustard, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, minced garlic, and tarragon; blend well.
  2. Add the chicken and beef pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated.
  3. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to marinate.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken, beef, mushrooms, cooked carrots, quartered small onions, and cut green peppers alternately onto skewers.
  5. Grill the skewers over medium heat, basting with remaining marinade and turning occasionally, until the meat is browned and cooked through, about 8 to 10 minutes.
