Ingredients

  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1/4 cup chopped pimento
  • 1 can frozen oyster stew, thawed
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 20 to 22 crackers

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl, reserving 1/2 cup cracker crumbs for topping.
  2. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish.
  3. Combine the remaining cracker crumbs with 2 tablespoons melted butter and sprinkle over the top.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 to 60 minutes until golden and bubbly.
