A hearty layered dinner featuring seasoned ground beef, sliced potatoes, green beans, crispy bacon, and melted cheese, perfect for family comfort and satisfying meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb hamburger (chuck)
  • 6 medium potatoes peeled and sliced
  • 2 cans green beans drained
  • 4 strips bacon
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Place bacon strips in the bottom of a large pan and cook until crispy.
  2. Layer seasoned hamburger over the bacon.
  3. Add sliced potatoes on top of the hamburger and season.
  4. Spread drained green beans over the potatoes and season.
  5. Heat the pan on high until the bacon sizzles, then reduce to simmer and cook for 1 hour with the lid on.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Allow the cheese to melt before serving.
