Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger meat
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • garlic powder
  • 1 can golden mushroom soup
  • 1 can water
  • 1 small can mushrooms, drained
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger meat with chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic powder in a skillet.
  2. Drain excess fat from the meat mixture.
  3. Add the golden mushroom soup, water, drained mushrooms, and stewed tomatoes to the skillet.
  4. Simmer the mixture for about 5 minutes to blend flavors.
  5. Serve the hot hamburger and mushroom sauce over cooked rice.
