Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 pkg. hot roll mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. poultry seasoning

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in a frying pan.
  2. Add ground beef, chopped onion, chopped celery, chopped green pepper, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Set the cooked meat mixture aside.
  4. Pour off excess grease from the meat mixture.
  5. Prepare hot roll mix according to package instructions to make a dough or base.
  6. Assemble the hamburger cake by layering or shaping the hot roll base and meat mixture as desired.
  7. Bake or cook as needed until heated through and the base is golden brown.
