Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 3/4 cup chopped dates
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 6 ounces butterscotch chips
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies

Instructions

  1. Cream sugar and margarine together and then add eggs.
  2. Beat until mixed.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, soda, and salt.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Add all other ingredients.
  6. Stir by hand until all ingredients are mixed completely.
  7. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350°F.
  9. As soon as you take cookies out of oven, use a spatula to remove them from the cookie sheet.
  10. If cookies are not removed at once, they will be too hard.
  11. The cookies will not look done when taken out of the oven.
