Hungry Boy Cookies
Hungry Boy Cookies are hearty, chewy treats packed with oats, coconut, dried fruits, nuts, and chocolate for a satisfying snack or dessert lovers of all ages.
Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar ⓘ
- 2 sticks margarine ⓘ
- 2 cups all-purpose flour ⓘ
- 2 teaspoons baking soda ⓘ
- 1 cup shredded coconut ⓘ
- 3/4 cup chopped dates ⓘ
- 6 ounces chocolate chips ⓘ
- 2 cups oatmeal ⓘ
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon baking powder ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1 cup chopped pecans ⓘ
- 1 cup raisins ⓘ
- 6 ounces butterscotch chips ⓘ
- 2 cups Rice Krispies ⓘ
Instructions
- Cream sugar and margarine together and then add eggs.
- Beat until mixed.
- Add flour, baking powder, soda, and salt.
- Mix well.
- Add all other ingredients.
- Stir by hand until all ingredients are mixed completely.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350°F.
- As soon as you take cookies out of oven, use a spatula to remove them from the cookie sheet.
- If cookies are not removed at once, they will be too hard.
- The cookies will not look done when taken out of the oven.
