John Mozetti
A hearty, cheesy beef casserole layered with tomatoes and mushrooms, perfect for satisfying family dinners with rich flavors and comforting textures.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef ⓘ
- 2 medium onions chopped ⓘ
- 1/4 green pepper chopped
- 1 tsp salt ⓘ
- pepper to taste ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt ⓘ
- 1 tsp margarine ⓘ
- 1 (5 oz) package medium noodles cooked ⓘ
- 1 can tomato soup ⓘ
- 1 lb can whole tomatoes ⓘ
- 1 small can sliced mushrooms ⓘ
- 1 (8 oz) package Cracker Barrel cheese ⓘ
- 1 (8 oz) package Mozzarella cheese ⓘ
Instructions
- Put 1 tablespoon of oil in a skillet and brown the ground beef.
- Cook the beef with chopped onions and green pepper until done.
- Drain part of the grease off.
- Add half of both cheeses and all other ingredients to the skillet.
- Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish.
- Top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for about 45 minutes before serving.
