Ingredients

  • 1 can mackerel
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • pepper to taste
  • sage (optional)
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • cornbread
  • 1 Tbsp cream-style corn
  • celery
  • sweet pepper
  • butter
  • ketchup

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients except butter and ketchup together in a bowl and knead to form a loaf.
  2. Place the mixture in a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
  3. Spread ketchup and drops of butter on top of the loaf.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for approximately 1 hour.
