Mogen David Beef Stew

Ingredients
- 2 lb. pot roast, cut into cubes ⓘ
- 3 Tbsp fat or oil ⓘ
- 1/4 c. Mogen David concord grape wine ⓘ
- 1 c. tomatoes ⓘ
- 1/4 c. chopped onions ⓘ
- 2 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. thyme ⓘ
- 1/8 tsp. marjoram ⓘ
- 1/4 c. fresh celery leaves ⓘ
- 1/4 c. boiled cut-up carrots ⓘ
- 1 pkg. green peas, cooked and drained
- 1/2 c. chopped green onions ⓘ
- 1 pkg. wide egg noodles
Instructions
- Brown the pot roast cubes on all sides in fat or oil. Transfer to a Dutch oven.
- Add Mogen David concord grape wine, tomatoes, onions, salt, pepper, thyme, marjoram, and fresh celery leaves. Bring to a simmer.
- Simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until the meat is tender.
- Add carrots, green peas, and chopped green onions. Cook for an additional 15 minutes.
- Serve the stew over cooked wide egg noodles.
