Moms Turkey Dressing

Ingredients
- 1 cake of cornbread ⓘ
- 3-4 leftover biscuits ⓘ
- 1 package stuffing mix ⓘ
- 4 stalks celery, cut up fine ⓘ
- 1 medium onion, cut up fine ⓘ
- 2-4 tablespoons margarine
- Salt and pepper to taste ⓘ
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon sage ⓘ
- 3-4 teaspoons fried chicken seasoning ⓘ
- 3/4 cup milk, more if needed ⓘ
- Hot pepper, optional ⓘ
Instructions
- Crumble the cornbread, biscuits, and stuffing mix together in a large bowl.
- Sauté the celery and onion in margarine until tender, then add to the bread mixture.
- Cut up cooked giblets finely and add to the bread mixture.
- Add salt, pepper, beaten eggs, cream of mushroom soup, sage, fried chicken seasoning, milk, and hot pepper if desired, then mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake at 350°F until browned, about 25 to 35 minutes.
