Ingredients

  • 1 cake of cornbread
  • 3-4 leftover biscuits
  • 1 package stuffing mix
  • 4 stalks celery, cut up fine
  • 1 medium onion, cut up fine
  • 2-4 tablespoons margarine
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 3-4 teaspoons fried chicken seasoning
  • 3/4 cup milk, more if needed
  • Hot pepper, optional

Instructions

  1. Crumble the cornbread, biscuits, and stuffing mix together in a large bowl.
  2. Sauté the celery and onion in margarine until tender, then add to the bread mixture.
  3. Cut up cooked giblets finely and add to the bread mixture.
  4. Add salt, pepper, beaten eggs, cream of mushroom soup, sage, fried chicken seasoning, milk, and hot pepper if desired, then mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake at 350°F until browned, about 25 to 35 minutes.
