Ingredients

  • 2 lb. beef stew meat
  • 1 c. shredded cabbage
  • 1 c. sliced carrots
  • 1 c. cut up celery
  • 1 c. cubed potatoes
  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 1 c. sliced zucchini
  • 1 c. cut green beans
  • 1 can cut up tomatoes
  • 6 c. beef broth
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 bay leaf

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large stew pot.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
  3. Simmer covered for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove the bay leaf before serving.
  5. Enjoy the hot, flavorful soup.
