Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 cans condensed tomato soup
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 ounces cooked noodles
  • sliced fresh or canned mushrooms
  • 1/4 pound grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet, add chopped green peppers and sauté until tender.
  2. Add condensed tomato soup and spices (garlic salt, oregano, onion salt, pepper), then simmer the mixture.
  3. Cook the noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  4. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  5. Layer the cooked noodles in the dish, then pour the meat sauce over the noodles.
  6. Top with sliced mushrooms and sprinkle grated cheddar and Parmesan cheeses on top.
  7. Cover the dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes.
  8. Remove the cover and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
