Pizza Hotdish
A hearty pizza hotdish combining ground beef, noodles, and cheesy toppings, perfect for family dinners or comfort food cravings with classic Italian-inspired flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef ⓘ
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper ⓘ
- 2 cans condensed tomato soup
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper ⓘ
- 6 ounces cooked noodles ⓘ
- sliced fresh or canned mushrooms
- 1/4 pound grated cheddar cheese ⓘ
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese ⓘ
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet, add chopped green peppers and sauté until tender.
- Add condensed tomato soup and spices (garlic salt, oregano, onion salt, pepper), then simmer the mixture.
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the cooked noodles in the dish, then pour the meat sauce over the noodles.
- Top with sliced mushrooms and sprinkle grated cheddar and Parmesan cheeses on top.
- Cover the dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes.
- Remove the cover and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
