Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 1 pkg. bread croutons
  • 1 large can mushrooms
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup spinach, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown the sausage in a skillet; do not drain the fat.
  2. Melt the margarine in a large mixing bowl and add Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion (or onion powder), poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper; mix well with a whisk.
  3. Add the cooked sausage, bread croutons, canned mushrooms (drained), chopped spinach, and chicken broth to the mixture.
  4. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 30 minutes or until heated through and golden on top.
