Seafood Special
A rich seafood casserole featuring crab, shrimp, scallops, and vegetables, topped with cheese sauce; perfect for a special dinner or seafood lovers' feast.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups crabmeat
- 2 eggs ⓘ
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice ⓘ
- dash Tabasco ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup chopped onion ⓘ
- 1/2 cup chopped celery ⓘ
- 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper ⓘ
- 1 pound peeled and deveined shrimp ⓘ
- 1 pound scallops ⓘ
- 1/2 cup chopped green onion ⓘ
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh mushroom ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine crabmeat, eggs, mayonnaise, Worcestershire, lemon juice, Tabasco, salt, bread crumbs, chopped onion, chopped celery, and chopped bell pepper in a bowl.
- Put the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan or divide among 6 individual baking dishes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, sauté shrimp, scallops, green onion, and mushroom in butter for 5 minutes.
- Drain the sautéed seafood mixture.
- Place the seafood mixture on top of the baked crab crust.
- Top with cheese sauce.
- Return to a hot oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
