Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. ground beef ⓘ
- 1/4 cup chopped onion ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons chopped green peppers ⓘ
- 15 oz. can refried beans ⓘ
- 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon catsup ⓘ
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin ⓘ
- 48 won ton skins
- cooking oil or shortening (for deep frying) ⓘ
- taco sauce ⓘ
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef, chopped onion, and chopped green peppers until the meat is browned and vegetables are tender.
- Drain off excess fat.
- Stir in refried beans, shredded Cheddar cheese, catsup, chili powder, and ground cumin; mix well.
- Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each won ton skin.
- Moisten the edges of the won ton skin with water and fold to form a sealed pouch.
- Deep fry the won tons in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels and serve with taco sauce.
