"That" Dip!

A cheesy, savory dip combining sausage, hamburger, mushrooms, and mozzarella, perfect for parties or casual gatherings, served with crackers for a hearty snack.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
  • 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. oregano
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 16 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • Ritz crackers
  • 1 can pizza sauce

Instructions

  1. Brown the sausage and hamburger in a skillet and add the chopped onion.
  2. Cook until browned, then add the mushrooms.
  3. Add oregano, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Pat the softened cream cheese on the bottom of a microwave-safe dish.
  5. Spread the cooked hamburger mixture over the cream cheese.
  6. Top with pizza sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Microwave until the cheese melts and is bubbly.
  8. Serve with Ritz crackers or your preferred crackers for dipping.
