Ingredients

  • 8 c. shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1/2 c. onions
  • 2 carrots
  • 3 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp. hot water
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar or 12 packets Equal
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • pinch of pepper

Instructions

  1. Shred the cabbage.
  2. Combine the vinegar, hot water, sugar, celery seed, salt, oil, and pepper; mix well.
  3. Add the shredded cabbage and other vegetables to the dressing; mix thoroughly.
  4. Marinate for 3 to 4 hours before serving.
