Ingredients
- 3/4 c. whole wheat flour ⓘ
- 1/4 c. toasted sesame seed ⓘ
- 1 tsp. baking powder ⓘ
- 1/2 c. coarsely chopped dry roasted unsalted peanuts ⓘ
- 1/2 c. chopped dates ⓘ
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil ⓘ
- 1 egg ⓘ
- 1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. wheat germ ⓘ
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon ⓘ
- 1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts ⓘ
- 1/2 c. raisins ⓘ
- 1/4 c. unsalted sunflower seeds ⓘ
- 1/2 c. maple syrup ⓘ
Instructions
- Stir the flour, oatmeal, sesame seed, wheat germ, baking powder and cinnamon in a large bowl until blended.
- Add the peanuts, walnuts, raisins, dates and sunflower seeds; stir to coat.
- Beat the oil, maple syrup, egg and banana together.
- Fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until blended.
- Drop by rounded 1/4 cupfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets.
- Bake until bottoms are golden, 15 to 18 minutes.
