Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 4 jars baby food pureed prunes (2 1/2 oz. each)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup nonfat milk
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee powder
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • seven minute frosting

Instructions

  1. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, soda, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Stir until blended.
  3. Add prunes, vanilla, eggs, and milk. Stir just until blended.
  4. Combine coffee and boiling water and stir until dissolved.
  5. Stir the coffee mixture into the batter until well blended.
