Tips & Substitutions
For a richer flavor, consider adding a splash of lemon juice or fresh herbs like thyme or parsley to the dish. If fresh mushrooms aren't available, dried mushrooms can be rehydrated and used instead. You can also substitute the lite cream with a plant-based alternative for a lighter version. This Mediterranean Stroganoff is versatile and can be adjusted to suit your taste.
Serving Suggestions
Serve this Mediterranean Stroganoff over a bed of cooked pasta or rice for a complete meal. It pairs wonderfully with a side salad or crusty bread. For a heartier option, consider serving alongside Lentil Shepherd'S Pie or Sauted Zucchini for a nutritious and balanced dinner.
Storage & Reheating
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, gently warm on the stovetop over low heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through. You may need to add a splash of milk or cream to loosen the sauce if it thickens upon cooling.
