Supper Nachos
Supper Nachos offer a hearty, cheesy, and flavorful dish featuring seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and fresh toppings, perfect for casual gatherings or family dinners.
Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground round ⓘ
- 1 large onion, chopped ⓘ
- 40 oz. refried beans ⓘ
- 2 (7 oz.) cans chopped green chilies ⓘ
- 5 cups shredded Jack or Cheddar cheese ⓘ
- 2 cups taco sauce ⓘ
- 1/2 bunch chopped green onions ⓘ
- small can chopped ripe olives ⓘ
- 3 avocados, mashed
- 2 cups sour cream ⓘ
- 8 cups nachos ⓘ
- salt ⓘ
- pepper ⓘ
- parsley ⓘ
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef and chopped onion with salt and pepper; drain excess fat.
- Spread refried beans evenly in an 11 x 17-inch shallow pan.
- Layer the cooked meat over the beans, then top with chopped green chilies and shredded cheese.
- Drizzle taco sauce over the cheese layer.
- Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cover with chopped green onions and chopped ripe olives.
- Bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Mound mashed avocados in the center of the nachos; surround with sour cream and sprinkle with parsley.
- Quickly tuck nachos around the edges before serving.
