  • 3 cloves minced garlic

Instructions

  2. Blend in flour and stir until bubbling.

Tips & Substitutions

To enhance the flavors, consider using fresh herbs instead of dried, such as fresh oregano or basil. If you're out of clam juice, seafood stock or additional chicken broth can work as substitutes. For a creamier sauce, you can replace the plain yogurt with sour cream. Always taste and adjust seasoning, especially with the crushed red pepper, to suit your heat preference.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the Seafood Rotelle with a side of garlic bread or a fresh garden salad for a balanced meal. A glass of chilled white wine complements the dish beautifully. Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When reheating, add a splash of chicken broth or water to the dish to prevent it from drying out. Reheat gently on the stovetop over low heat, stirring occasionally, until warmed through.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use frozen shrimp instead of cooked shrimp?

Yes, you can use frozen shrimp; just ensure they are fully thawed and cooked before adding them to the sauce. This will help maintain the texture and flavor of the shrimp in the final dish. Cook them separately according to package instructions if needed.

What can I substitute for white wine?

If you prefer not to use white wine, you can substitute it with additional chicken broth, or use a mixture of vinegar and water. This will maintain the acidity needed in the recipe, but it may slightly alter the flavor profile.

Can I make this recipe ahead of time?

Yes, you can prepare the sauce ahead of time and store it separately from the cooked rotelle. Combine them just before serving to retain the pasta's texture and prevent it from becoming mushy. This makes it a great option for meal prep or entertaining.
