Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 to 2 lb. boneless pork loin
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 1/2 c. croutons
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti

Instructions

  1. In hot oil, in a large frying pan, brown the pork well.
  2. Add chopped onion, chopped celery, and chopped green pepper.
  3. Saute until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Mix in sliced mushrooms and seasonings (Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, basil).
  5. Simmer, covered, for 25 minutes.
  6. Blend in cream of mushroom soup and milk.
  7. Simmer, covered, for an additional 5 minutes.
