Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent rolls
  • 1 cup hash browns, thawed
  • 5 eggs

  • 1 pound sausage, browned and drained
  • 4 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: 6-ounce can tuna or 8-ounce can salmon or 1 cup cooked leftover meat or seafood or ground meat or grated cheese
  • Optional: noodles, macaroni, potatoes, rice, hominy, spaghetti, dried beans
  • Optional: cream of celery, shrimp, chicken, tomato, mushroom soups, or other canned soups
  • Optional: garlic, parsley, chives, Tabasco, chopped onion, soy sauce, sliced black olives, thyme, green pepper, bouillon, oregano, pimento, basil, cooked bacon
  • 1/2 lb. crumbled ground meat, well browned OR

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent rolls and press them into a greased baking dish to form the crust.
  3. In a skillet, cook sausage until browned and drain excess fat.
  4. In a bowl, beat eggs with salt and milk.
  5. Add cooked sausage, hash browns, and any optional ingredients like tuna, seafood, or leftover meats to the eggs mixture.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the crescent roll crust.
  7. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, and other desired toppings like chopped parsley, chives, or olives on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
